Tulamben’s Grand Pleurobranch

Night dives are a wonderfully unique experience set apart from dives during the daylight hours – particularly when Tulamben’s Grand Pleurobranch is spotted!

This sidegill slug, Grand Pleurobranch, can be overlooked as some enormous cowrie shell. Mindful divers will note its slow movement and be curious of the underwater organism. It is an animal that is usually spotted during night dives because of its lack of speed – making best use of the darkness to find a meal.

Find the enormous slug with one of our experienced local dive guides, who still find themselves enraptured by the mollusc, when you arrange some night diving. Just contact our ‘Dream Team’ in Tulamben, Bali, for more details on our ‘Stay & Dive’ packages!
