Bali Dream Divers’ PADI Pro Divers all-time favourite dive site (possibly!) is to guide divers aboard Bali’s Boga Wreck!
What’s so fascinating? Just diving along the reef to get to the shipwreck is so exploratory; to view the distinctive topography of the seabed is ‘out-of-this-world’! Experts do say that: we know more about outer space than we do about our own Earths’ seas and oceans. Much like how sand dunes in the Sahara Desert are created by winds, the contours of slopes and walls of the limestone coral reef substrate and sand are shaped by currents. The Boga Wreck is exposed to fairly strong current, which changes by the season, by the month, by the week and by the hour! It can be a challenging dive even for the experienced diver, so get some dives in Tulamben with one of our PADI Instructors for a ‘warm-up’ dive experience before heading to Kubu! You know what else ‘they’ say: the best things in life don’t come easy! So despite the possible challenges to face when visiting Boga Wreck – we assure you, it’s worth it!…you may even want to dive there again, and again!
