Leaf scorpionfish (Taenianotus triacanthus) are the ‘Scorpion Kings’ of Bali, and in Tulamben‘s coral reefs, we can find many of these exotic tropical fish species!
One of our Bali Dream Divers‘ PADI Pro Divers snapped a photo of a red variation of the leaf scorpionfish species and it’s a real winning shot too! A front profile perspective really offers how leaf-like the shape of these fish really are. Underwater photography takes some practise, and frequent practise, to gain a purposeful shot. There are so many artful adjustments to achieve with the use of even a standard point-and-shoot camera with basic functions found in many modern cameras available on the market. Individuality through creativity is a passionate undertaking for underwater photographers, which is why so many divers are interested in this particular scuba diving discipline.
Contact our Dream Team to discuss a personalised underwater photography education under the experienced guidance and supervision of one of our PADI Instructors. If you don’t have an underwater camera system of your own, you can rent one from our dive centre. Camera rentals include use of the camera for the day, regardless of number of dives, and a DVD of your images and videos!
