Hypselodoris tryoni is a member of Tulamben’s colourful family…made more colourful with a special shrimp sometimes found ‘hitching-a-ride’ on their bodies!
Emperor shrimp (Periclimenes imperator) live in a commensal relationship with this nudibranch species possibly due to their fast-moving pace. We couldn’t think of a better ‘carriage’ for an Emperor! This ‘hitch-hiking’ behaviour is rare though, so if you do witness it, you might want to take a photo. Bali Dream Divers offer great value on daily rates of camera rental, and if you want more experience taking underwater photography our dedicated PADI Instructors can conduct the PADI Underwater Photography Specialty course (consisting of 2 dives), which includes use of a camera for the day anyway.
You will see a considerable improvement to your creativity under their instructional supervision after some experienced advice and ‘tricks’! Contact our ‘Dream Team’ based in Tulamben, Bali, to arrange your next dive adventure travel and learn how to capture your memories through beautiful images! You can also improve your dive skills too with a total package to combine this exciting course with other scuba diving courses, such as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.
