What’s got 18 spines and loves Bali? Lionfish (Pterois)!
Average life span for lionfish is 10 years, and they grow from this 1-inch shy mini-version of the fully formed adult, to become a fairly intimidating poisonous fish that gracefully coasts coral reefs. It shows a distinct signal of warning that leaves little misrepresentation with a flare of its dorsal fins! A stance of readiness to use their venomous spines.
